CA' MAGNOLO - History
In Tuscany, along the beautiful paths of the province of Arezzo which were once crossed by the troops of venture Captain Baldaccio Bruni of Anghiari, stands a cottage in the countryside which is called “Cà Magnolo”
This country house is in the heart of history because in the surroundings there are still medieval buildings like the Castle of Galbino and the ruins of Castle of Pietramala, an ancient castle of the Tarlati family of Arezzo, which were lords of the city and which placed it to protect himself. The whole area where it was located the Castle of Pietramala is called “the county" and although there are few remains of this castle not too far from it there are still two tanks communicating with one another which supplied the castle with rainwater and that can be reached on foot.
Nearby you can meet other houses, to show that an active country life took place in these hills until the'70s.
